First Wash

• Wash separately from other clothes.
• Use cold to lukewarm water.
• Optional: Soak in warm water with 1–2 tablespoons of salt for 10–20 minutes, then rinse and wash with a mild detergent. This is especially helpful for tie-dye and brightly coloured fabrics.
• Hand washing is preferred. If using a machine, use a gentle cycle.

Ongoing Washing

• Use cold water only.
• Wash with a mild detergent.
• Avoid soaking for long periods.
• Wash dark and bright colours separately.
• Turn the garment inside out before washing.

Drying

• Do not dry for long periods in direct sunlight to avoid fading.
• Do not wring harshly.

Ironing

• Use medium heat.
• Iron inside out, especially for tie-dye and printed fabrics.

Avoid

• Hot water.
• Bleach or strong chemicals.
• Long soaking.
• Drying in direct sunlight for extended periods.
